A/Prof Alistair Jukes is an Australian-trained Adult and Paediatric Neurosurgeon with fellowships in both open vascular and endovascular neurosurgery. He trained at the Royal Adelaide, Women's and Children's, Flinders, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals.

He was the Recipient of the NRF Abbie-Simpson Skull Base Fellowship and completed his PhD in Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of Adelaide under Professor PJ Wormald and Professor Alkis Psaltis. Following the awarding of FRACS, he completed the Drake Neurovascular Fellowship in London, Canada specialising in open and endovascular neurosurgery.

He currently has appointments at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and The Memorial Hospital. He sees patients with a wide variety of conditions including brain tumours, vascular pathologies such as aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, spinal disease, and general neurosurgery.

Dr Jukes is also an Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide and is involved in multiple research projects. Additionally he is a Royal Australian Air ForceSpecialist Reserve Medical Officer.
