Sunita De Sousa is an Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide and Senior Staff Specialist in Endocrinology and Genetics at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She completed her PhD on prolactinomas in 2020, receiving the University of Adelaide Doctoral Research Medal. She now leads the South Australian Pituitary Research Group with a multidisciplinary pituitary tumour research program including genetic, radiological, surgical, medical therapy and radiotherapy projects. Her other roles include Chair of the International Pituitary Society Genetics Guidelines Working Group and Secretary of the Endocrine Society of Australia.
